Self Portrait/Photobooks - Project #4
Self Portrait/Photobooks - Project #4
Book #2
For my second photobook, the indirect self portrait, I decided to take photos of my Funko Pops because they're an interest of mine and each and every individual Funko Pop in my collection means something to me whether it's my favourite music artist, actor, cartoon character, etc... I've been collecting Funko Pops since I was a wee-little kid so that's why I also decided to use them for my second photobook.
How did you take your pictures and what setting did you use on your camera?
Great question! For my set up, I used a navy blue sheet as my backdrop and an adjustable indoor grow lights for my lighting since I took my pictures when it was dark. For my camera settings, I used Av (Aperture Priority), the lowest possible aperture my camera has to let in the maximum amount of light, a shutter speed of 1/125, an ISO of 3200 and a RAW file to fix lighting and reduce any noise in post-production.
After taking considerations in from the discussion of my layout, I decided to take individual pictures of my Funko Pops instead of grouping them together. I found that this was a great decision because it's now much easier to see the small details within the Funko Pops themselves.
(I do not have any photos at this time since they are being stored on my flash drive somewhere)
