Digital Painting - Project #5 Final iteration / Reflection This is my final design. I went ahead and added in some "cryptic" text. There's text blended into the background that repetitively says "paradise," implying that this place is paradise but it really isn't, and this contrasts with the other text such as, "I need to get out" and "was it worth it?" This piece is meant to be ambiguous. It's solely up to the interpretation of the viewer since "weirdcore" isn't supposed to make complete sense. However, my main goal was to evoke feeling of disorientation, confusion, alienation and nostalgia. For this form of art, I'd like to say it disturbs the comforted and comforts the disturbed. All my images other than the sky were sourced online and copyright free, meaning they're free to use.
